Breast reduction

Breast reduction

Breast reduction, also known as reduction mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure that aims to reduce the size of the breasts by removing excess breast tissue, fat, and skin. This procedure can be performed on both men and women, although it is more commonly performed on women

Cutibless Breast reduction surgery is usually recommended for women who have large breasts that cause discomfort, pain, or other medical problems such as back pain, neck pain, or skin irritation. Women with large breasts may also experience difficulty finding clothing that fits properly and may feel self-conscious about their appearance.

During the procedure, the surgeon will make incisions in the breast tissue and remove the excess tissue and skin. The nipple and areola are also repositioned to a higher position on the breast. The incisions are then closed with sutures, and the breasts are wrapped in a special dressing or compression garment.

Most patients can return to work and normal activities within 2-4 weeks, but strenuous activities should be avoided for several weeks.

Breast reduction surgery can help to improve a patient's quality of life by reducing pain, discomfort, and self-consciousness associated with large breasts. However, like all surgical procedures, it does carry some risks and potential complications, including bleeding, infection, scarring, and changes in nipple sensation.

It is important to discuss the risks and benefits of breast reduction surgery with our best-qualified plastic surgeon from cutibless before deciding to undergo the procedure.
